Javelin Graphics was created in 2006 as an online business in a virtual world; however, it grew to include companies outside the virtual realm of Secondlife as this virtual realm has grown to include real life companies within it (see Secondlife.com). Owned and created by Lisa Deosaran (aka Ren Javelin), who as an Administrative/Executive Assistant for most of her career, has a unique insight into what helps small to medium companies achieve that next step in their growth process.
While Javelin Graphics offers logo creation and marketing materials (i.e. flyers, brochures, business card design), she also created "Typed Write". Typed Write offers more of a name recognition service including and extending the service of Javelin Graphics to include form design, database design and implementation, PowerPoint presentations, as well as secretarial services that are sometimes above and beyond the norm of a regular full-time employee's job description or time. These services are not performed at the client companies' site and are usually a one time event; therefore, are more cost effective in that company's do not need to hire an extra employee, temporary service or larger marketing company to have their needs met professionally.
To continue the quality of service Ms. Deosaran has provided, she is now seeking her BS in Web Design/Interactive Multimedia through The Art Institute of Pittsburgh Online Division.
